This is a question of whether the socket is installed in a wall raceway or directly in the wall.
For the relevant wall-mounted receptacle you can find a product group in the main catalogue of MENNEKES. Information on the correct type of receptacle is included for each flush-mounted socket displayed in the catalogue, including any additional comments.
The flush-mounted sockets for concealed receptacles (40369) in combination with the corresponding flange (40102) are suitable for the indicated product group.
ErgoCONTACT refers to a specially enhanced, innovative, easy-to-use screw-contact technology that is available for plugs and sockets. It enables easy, secure, and time-saving installation. To this end, the screwdriver is inserted from the top instead of the side to apply pressure directly against the handle. The screw is additionally guided by a collar. This prevents it from slipping and minimizes the risk of injuries. Each contact has only one screw: a captive combination head screw that is integrated in the guide collar and can be turned using either a Phillips or flathead screwdriver. More information can be found here.
The pilot contact is required for the electrical interlock. Our CEE wall-mounted receptacles, for example, are available with a pilot contact switch. This is a switch inside the receptacle that is operated by inserting and pulling out the plug. The switch ensures the electrical interlocking of the receptacles.

Our CEE wall-mounted receptacles are available with PCS. PCS stands for Pilot Contact Switch. This is a switch inside the receptacle that is operated by inserting and pulling out the plug. The switch ensures the electrical interlocking of the receptacles. When the plug is inserted into the socket, the contact is released and the voltage is applied to the contacts.
The abbreviation HHNP stands for Highly Heat-resistant contact carriers and Nickel Plated contacts.
